• Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Job Summary:

A well-established company in Fort Myers is seeking an Accounting Clerk to handle both accounts receivable and accounts payable responsibilities. This position reports to the Director of Finance and requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable:

• Generate and send customer invoices.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
• Apply customer payments accurately.
• Manage customer credit limits and the collections process.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies.

Accounts Payable:

• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and match them with purchase orders.
• Code invoices to appropriate expense accounts.
• Process vendor payments in accordance with payment terms and company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor relationships and communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Fluent in English (Bilingual in Spanish is a plus).
• Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with accounting software (Knowledge of Sage 100 is a plus).
• Strong communication skills for customer and vendor interactions.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
