Salary: $18 hour

Now Hiring: Entry-Level Machine Shop Laborer (Night Shift) – $18/hr | Northshore Area

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Metal Shop Laborer to join our team on the night shift at a well-established metal fabrication facility located in the Northshore area.

Position Details:

• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour- Commission incentives after certain timeframe 

• Schedule: Night Shift (Exact hours will be discussed during interview)

• Location: Northshore, LA

• Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general labor in a machine shop environment

• Handle and work with metal materials and parts

• Perform basic cleaning and preparation of metal components

• Operate forklifts to move materials and supplies (training provided if needed)

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Support machine operators and shop staff as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or machine shop setting is a plus, but not required

• Willingness to learn and work in a physically active environment

• Basic forklift experience preferred

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods

• Must be dependable and able to work night shift hours
