Shop Hand

Located in Athens, TX

Salary: $16/Hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Shop Hand to join a company in the local Athens, TX area.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6PM - 6AM

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain metal shearing equipment
• Assist with fabrication tasks at 4 jig welding tables
• Support platers by organizing and prepping 2 full plating stations
• Load/unload materials and keep the shop clean and organized
• Follow blueprints, measurements, and shop drawings as needed
• Work closely with welders and other team members to complete projects on time
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a shop or fabrication environment preferred
• Ability to read tape measures and handle heavy materials
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
