Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Lead Countertop Installer to oversee installation projects and lead a crew in the field. This position requires at least 3 years of hands-on countertop installation experience and prior experience supervising or managing an installation team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a high level of craftsmanship, and the ability to ensure job sites are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a crew in the installation of granite, quartz, laminate, and solid surface countertops
• Safely load, transport, and unload materials and tools to and from job sites
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
• Accurately measure and fit countertops using a tape measure and precision tools
• Read and interpret job specifications, blueprints, or shop drawings
• Oversee cutting, polishing, and on-site modifications when necessary
• Train and mentor crew members on best practices and installation techniques
• Serve as the primary point of contact with customers during installation
• Maintain a clean and safe job site; enforce safety protocols
• Document work progress and report project updates to management

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience installing countertops (granite, quartz, laminate, etc.)
• Experience leading a crew on job sites is required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proficient with tape measure and other measuring tools
• Strong working knowledge of power tools and fabrication equipment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Must be punctual, organized, and dependable
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
