Job Description:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dispatcher. You will be the first point of contact with customers and technicians, you will play a crucial role in coordinating service requests, ensuring efficient scheduling, and maintaining excellent communication. This position requires someone who thrives under pressure, can multitask effectively, think outside the box and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate should also possess the ability to grasp mechanical concepts to ensure an accurate understanding of service requests and technician requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and manage all service requests via phone and email promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate and dispatch technicians for project installations, service requests, and site visits based on urgency, customer availability, and efficient routing.
• Monitor and track technician progress throughout the day using dispatch and GPS software.
• Prioritize and organize dispatch requests to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
• Communicate effectively with customers and technicians to ensure timely updates, track progress throughout the day, and facilitate successful job completion.
• Gather all necessary customer and job details to ensure technicians are fully prepared for dispatch.
• Build strong relationships with repeat clients and maintain a rapport with customers and technicians.
• Perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with Dispatch, scheduling and logistics
• Excellent multitasking abilities and the ability to make quick decisions.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• A team player who collaborates well with others.
• Ability to grasp mechanical concepts and apply them to accurately assess service requests and technician needs.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and creative problem-solving techniques to accurately identify and assess customer service needs and the specific services being requested.
• Experience with dispatch or GPS software is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS.
