Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Box Shop Worker to join our production team. This role involves the fabrication, assembly, and preparation of concrete forms—commonly referred to as "boxes"—used in the production of precast concrete structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or construction environment and be comfortable working with heavy materials and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and disassemble concrete forms (boxes) according to specifications and blueprints
• Prepare molds for concrete pouring, including cleaning, oiling, and reinforcing
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect forms for damage or wear and perform basic maintenance or repairs
• Assist with pouring and finishing concrete as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure quality and efficiency

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in concrete work, carpentry, or industrial manufacturing is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods
• Familiarity with safety procedures and use of PPE
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to work in outdoor or semi-outdoor conditions

Work Environment:

• Industrial or precast concrete facility
• Exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions
• Use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and hearing protection
