Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Warehouse Receiver position for a Tyler, Tx, company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

Essential Duties:

• General duties involving physical handling of products, materials, and supplies
• Participation in the continual development and improvement of warehouse standard operating procedures for the facility
• Safe operation of all warehouse equipment
• Troubleshoot receiving or shipping discrepancies
• Meeting daily receiving and shipment responsibilities
• Ensuring work areas are clean and organized
• Filling in for other positions as needed
• Periodic bending, kneeling, twisting, lifting 50+ pounds, and climbing

Technical Skills or other Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Periodic bending, kneeling, twisting, lifting 50+ pounds, and climbing
• Operating RF Scanner to track quantities for shipping and inventory purposes
• Effective communication skills to interact with internal and external customers and suppliers
• Strong time management skills, detail-oriented, and committed to quality
• Ability to drive results without a great deal of direct supervision
• Sitdown forklift experience but not necessary 
• 2 years + in a receiving/shipping, or distribution center operation
