Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, work with a team in providing routine and spontaneous building maintenance services for over 200+ residents and other departments to make sure operations run smoothly.

What you will do:

• Operate paint striping machine, air-less, and pneumatic sprayers and related equipment (measuring tapes, stencils, etc.)
• Apply torch-down cross walk markings.
• Ensure safe conditions for residents and co-workers before, during and after projects occur.
• Approach all encounters with residents, guests, and co-workers in a gracious, attentive, and courteous manner.
• Assist in estimating and ordering adequate supplies, materials, and equipment to perform each task/project as needed.
• Apply sealers, paints, and stains according to industry standards.
• Clean and maintain areas and equipment essential to your job function, as assigned. Make minor repairs to equipment as needed.
• Match existing colors of paints and stain; mix paints or stains. Properly mask and protect areas not to be painted.
• Prepare all necessary surfaces to receive sealers, stain, or wall covering.
• Prepare drywall and plaster surfaces to receive paint or wall covering and make repairs as needed.
• Use all necessary and proper safety equipment (including PPE) and techniques when performing all levels of the job.
