About the Role:
We are hiring a Technical Quotes Representative on behalf of a leading industrial distribution client in Grapevine, TX. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for a technically minded professional with experience in quoting industrial products such as seals, bearings, gaskets, and related components. The role involves preparing formal quotations, collaborating with internal teams, and delivering excellent service to OEM and MRO customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and respond to customer RFQs, including specifications and data sheets
- Analyze customer requirements and clarify terms and conditions
- Collaborate with sales and account management to develop competitive quotes
- Source product information and assess lead times and costs
- Prepare and update price lists and review pricing strategies with leadership
- Follow up on open quotes to ensure resolution and conversion
- Support adoption and usage of new quoting tools
- Coordinate with Product Management and Engineering teams for technical support
- Estimate manufactured product costs when required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in industrial sales, quoting, or technical customer service
- Strong knowledge of seals, gaskets, bearings, or similar products preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
