Location: Bloomington, IL
Pay: $24/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Occasional Saturdays)

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds and Property Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and maintain the church property, including grounds, facilities, and essential day-to-day operations. This role requires both hands-on outdoor work and administrative responsibilities, and a strong commitment to serving the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and service all tools and equipment

• Perform general groundskeeping (mowing, landscaping, snow removal, etc.)

• Dig graves and prepare sites as needed

• Conduct routine upkeep of church buildings (cleaning, minor repairs, etc.)

• Work professionally and compassionately with the public

• Handle administrative tasks including:

  • Scheduling funerals and church reservations

  • Communicating with funeral homes

  • Managing phone and computer duties

Qualifications:

• Experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, or similar fields

• Basic mechanical skills for equipment upkeep

• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Basic computer skills (email, scheduling, record keeping)
