Material Handler position available in South Austin! 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team in a manufacturing warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will spend 50% of their time supporting production operations and 50% managing inventory to ensure smooth workflow and efficient material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Duties (50% of Time)

• Assist in the production process by preparing, handling, and moving materials and components to and from production lines.
• Operate machinery and equipment as needed to support manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with production team members to ensure that production goals are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Inventory Management Duties (50% of Time)

• Receive, inspect, and track incoming shipments of raw materials and supplies.
• Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
• Organize and store materials in designated areas for easy access and efficient workflow.
• Utilize inventory management software to update stock levels and report discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a material handler or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus (training may be provided).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 pounds] regularly.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
