Looking for a stable first-shift position with a three-day weekend every week? A Springfield-area manufacturer is seeking a dependable Shipping Receiving Clerk to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and production operations in a machining and manufacturing environment.

Pay

• $18.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday
• 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Full-Time

What You'll Do

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
• Create shipping labels, packing slips, and shipping documentation
• Package machined parts and products for safe delivery
• Verify shipment quantities, inventory, and documentation
• Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records
• Supply materials and components to production departments
• Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock levels
• Assist with production support duties when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Experience with shipping software and carrier systems is a plus
• Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to support both warehouse and production activities
• Valid driver's license required
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Skills Needed

• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Inventory tracking and recordkeeping
• Shipping and receiving procedures
• Adaptability and willingness to learn

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk on concrete floors throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Regular lifting up to 50 pounds
• Work safely in warehouse and manufacturing environments
