Job Title:   Plastic Extrusion Operator 

Pay: $21/Hour 

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 5pm-5am

The extrusion operator is responsible for shaping plastic materials by forcing them through a die or mold to create a certain shape or profile. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Set up the Equipment: Prepare and set up extrusion machinery. Load materials adjust machine settings and configure dies or molds to meet specs. 
• Operate the Machine: initiate the process, monitor the machine parameters and make adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiencies. 
• Operate forklift to bring over appropriate materials as indicated on the work order
• Quality Control: conduct QC checks on products at regular intervals, visually inspecting for defects, variations and deviations from the specs and make corrective action as needed 
• Record the production output on tablet 

Qualifications:

• Understand flat sheet dye extrusion
• Poly Propylene experience
• Have worked with Plastic Fabric Adhesions
• 2 years Plastic Extrusion Experience
• Be able to lift 35-50lbs routinely
