Job Summary:

A local company is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of building materials to customer job sites and company locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, strong customer service skills, and a professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL-class trucks to transport building materials

• Load and unload materials at customer locations and job sites

• Verify accuracy of delivery tickets and ensure proper handling of materials

• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs

• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers

• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally

• Assist with yard or warehouse duties when not driving

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Class B or higher required)

• Clean driving record and current DOT medical card

• Previous delivery or construction material experience preferred

• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and handle heavy materials safely

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Forklift experience is a plus
