Laborer

Located in Tyler, TX

Salary: $16/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Laborer to join a local company in Tyler, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!

Key Responsibilities

• Package material as specified on route sheets

• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately

• Work closely with a teammate—requires a go-with-the-flow, easy going personality

• Perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs

• Stand and remain active for up to 12 hours per shift

• Work safely around industrial machinery (must be 6 feet tall or under for machine clearance)

• Maintain a clean and safe work area despite exposure to a dirty environment

• Complete tasks quickly, efficiently, and with attention to quality

Requirements:

• GED or High School Diploma required

• Drug screen must be completed prior to start

• Strong basic math and mechanical skills

• Able to work under pressure and at a consistent, fast pace

• Demonstrated ability to follow directions with minimal supervision

• Safety-conscious mindset

• Physically capable of repetitive lifting and long periods of standing

• Must be mentally sharp and able to make quick, sound decisions
