Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Accountant to join a leading manufacturing company. In this role, you’ll manage general ledger accounting, month-end close activities, and manufacturing/WIP cost accounting. You’ll also oversee AR/AP operations and play a key part in financial reporting, variance analysis, and maintaining compliance with GAAP.
Manage general ledger functions, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations.
Perform WIP and manufacturing cost accounting and inventory analysis.
Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and variance analyses.
Support annual audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies.
Supervise the AR/AP Coordinator and support financial process improvements.
5+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
3+ years of manufacturing or WIP cost accounting experience.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial analysis.
Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
