Truck Washer

Job Duties:

Candidates assigned to the Truck Washer position will be responsible for the following duties:

-washing and disinfecting semi trucks, trailers, and other company vehicles to ensure bio-security standards

-using high-pressure wands and hoses for proper cleaning and sanitation of trucks, trailers, etc

-washing and disinfecting transfer pens

-unloading and reloading pigs weighing up to 50 lbs

 

Qualifications:

Candidates assigned to the Truck Washer position must be able to: 

-start their workday as early as 6 am and work entire scheduled shift with no interruptions

-lift up to 50 lbs without any assistance repeatedly 

-stand and walk on hard flooring for prolonged periods of time

-bend, stoop, reach and squat repeatedly

-use arms and hands repeatedly 

 

Working Conditions:

Candidates assigned to the Truck Washer position will work:

-in steamy environments

-on wet concrete floors

-indoors

-in animal/feed dust
