Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician with either marine electrical or commercial-residential electrical experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, be comfortable working in a marine environment, and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of electrical components.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on boats or facilities
• Troubleshoot wiring issues, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
• Collaborate with technicians and boatyard staff to complete repairs efficiently
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Marine Electrician or Commercial-Residential Electrician
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in outdoor/marine environments
• Knowledge of AC/DC systems, wiring methods, and code compliance
• Must have own basic tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
