Express Employment is hiring for seasonal Events/Grounds workers for Barber Park!

SEASONAL: Now - September or so

Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days/week (days worked may shift to include weekends occasionally based on park events schedule)

Hours: 8 hours/day, hours vary depending on park schedule - schedule comes out week in advance

Pay: $17.00/hour

 

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Hybrid role where you're setting up/cleaning up/tearing down after events, cleaning/maintaining the Events Center, and doing Groundskeeping work

• Performs a variety of minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting tasks.
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools.
• Maintains grounds: mows, weeds, rakes, cuts and prunes bushes, plants flowers, irrigates, landscapes
• Operates equipment including: lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc.
• Maintains cleanliness of facilities; picks up and removes trash, sweeps and mops floors, cleans windows and restrooms, etc.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Previous maintenance experience a plus.
• Knowledge of the methods, tools and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of facilities.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance.
• Ability to operate and clean a variety of hand and power tools, safely.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles (including light trucks) safely.
• Must have a valid Driver's License

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

• Required to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, climb
• Frequently carries tools and equipment and may be required to lift up to 50lbs.
