Assistant Plant Superintendent
Location: Pine Bluff, ArkansasEmployment Type: Full-Time (Monday - Friday)
Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Assistant Plant Superintendent to support the Plant Superintendent in managing daily operations of our manufacturing facility. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe work environment. The Assistant Plant Superintendent will coordinate with various departments to meet production goals and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing daily plant operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Support in recruiting, training, and supervising staff to maintain a motivated workforce.
Ensure products meet established quality standards and compliance requirements, including ISO 9001-2015 certification.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory bodies.
Collaborate with inventory and accounting teams to manage raw material and finished goods inventory effectively.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
Oversee the maintenance of the plant facility, ensuring a clean and professional environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficient in production planning and quality control.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 standards is advantageous.
