Express is hiring on behalf of our client in the Madison area for a Woodworker to join their growing millwork and trim production team. This is a full-time, hands-on opportunity to work with high-end custom woodworking and precision trim production. Position Overview:

This position combines custom cabinet making and trim production work in a dynamic woodshop environment. You’ll work with a variety of materials and machines, supporting both unique, made-to-order pieces and high-quality production runs. From reading CAD drawings to shaping and assembling wood components, you'll be a key contributor to each finished product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build custom wood products such as doors, mantels, stair parts, cabinetry, and curved moldings

• Assist in trim production by ripping, catching, labeling, and organizing materials

• Operate or support woodworking machinery, with opportunity to advance to machine operation

• Read and interpret shop drawings, cabinet vision, and CAD plans

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials using woodshop tools

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Conduct job site measurements or templating (valid driver’s license required)

• Assist with inventory management and prepare materials for shipment

• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met

Qualifications:

• Proven 2-3 years of experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork production 

• Familiarity with woodshop tools and machinery

• Ability to read and follow detailed measurements and technical drawings

• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship

• Reliable, adaptable, and motivated to grow in a skilled trade

• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain one
