CNC Machinist

Salary: $20-$22/hr

CNC Machinist Job Summary:

 

A local company that builds hydraulic manifolds is seeking a CNC Machinist to their growing team. The CNC Machinist will assist in the manufacturing process of high quality, custom manifolds.

 

 

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce custom metal manifolds according to specifications
• Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to measure and inspect parts for accuracy and quality
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal operation
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety policies and procedures
• Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals and deadlines are met
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and report any issues to the supervisor

 

CNC Machinist Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience with metal
• Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Strong math and measuring skills, with the ability to read technical drawings
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

 

Schedule & Pay: 

• 1st shift, 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday; overtime could run as late as 4:30pm and may include occasional Saturdays
• $20-22/HR
