Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and maintenance of residential or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general maintenance tasks, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to keep properties in safe, clean, and working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of property systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.

• Handle general repairs such as patching drywall, painting, fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and maintaining flooring and appliances.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.

• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of common areas, grounds, and exterior property spaces.

• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and gutter cleaning.

• Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

• Keep maintenance logs and complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner.

• Communicate with property management or tenants regarding service issues or scheduling repairs.

• Follow safety procedures and local building codes to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 1–3 years of experience in property or building maintenance preferred.

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.

• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
