We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead a small team and oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations. If you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit.

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for supervising daily warehouse activities, managing inventory and logistics, ensuring safety compliance, and working collaboratively across departments to meet company goals. You’ll be working closely with a small team (1–2 team members), and you’ll be expected to lead by example in a hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management & Supervision:

  • Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy

  • Collaborate with all departments to align warehouse operations with company needs

  • Support and assist team members in day-to-day functions as needed

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory tracking using Fishbowl Inventory system

  • Maintain accurate records and stock levels; communicate with purchasing and sales teams

  • Conduct routine inventory audits and manage stock discrepancies

Logistics & Shipping:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely, accurate delivery

  • Perform and oversee quality checks on all sales and manufacturing orders

  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries

  • Oversee the proper handling, loading, and unloading of goods to avoid damage

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce workplace safety policies and conduct regular safety inspections

  • Train staff on safety protocols, equipment usage, and emergency procedures

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse

Process Improvement:

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement strategies to improve warehouse operations

  • Recommend and implement best practices to reduce costs and increase productivity

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, returns, and warehouse activity

  • Report performance metrics and issues to senior management

Technology Management:

  • Use and maintain inventory management systems (experience with Fishbowl Inventory preferred)

  • Identify and troubleshoot system or technology-related issues

Customer Service:

  • Resolve customer issues or complaints related to warehouse functions

  • Ensure a high level of accuracy and on-time fulfillment to maintain customer satisfaction

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

  • Minimal forklift usage; warehouse has sit-down and stand-up forklifts (forklift experience a plus, but not required)

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

  • Proficient with inventory software (experience with Fishbowl Inventory is a strong plus)

  • Ability to work independently and manage a small team effectively

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
