What You’ll Be Doing:

🔹 Utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) for data collection and coding
🔹 Abstracting and indexing trauma-related data from patient records and reports
🔹 Conducting detailed injury scaling and classification
🔹 Ensuring compliance with healthcare policies and ICD-10 coding standards
🔹 Attending required courses for trauma registry expertise
🔹 Maintaining database integrity and producing reports for healthcare analysis

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Equivalent experience in a health-related field
✔ Experience with coding, abstracting, and emergency room documentation
✔ Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
✔ Proficiency in database management and trauma indexing systems
✔ Remote roles require at least one year of trauma registry experience
✔ Must attend trauma registrar, injury scaling, and ICD-10 courses (within 12 months if not previously completed)
