Role: Customer Service Manager Location: Denver, CO 

Are you an experienced customer service leader with a passion for logistics and team development? A fast-growing, multi-city final-mile logistics company is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead customer support operations. This role is an in-person role that is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong database and organizational skills, and is ready to manage a team of both in-office and remote representatives.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and support a team of approximately 6 customer service representatives (3 in-office, 3 remote). * This role is in-person, however.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture.

Customer Experience Management

  • Oversee day-to-day customer service operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex or sensitive customer concerns.
  • Monitor service metrics and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

Logistics Coordination

  • Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery experiences.
  • Understand and communicate delivery timelines, exceptions, and service updates to customers.

Database & Systems Oversight

  • Utilize and maintain customer service databases and logistics platforms to track interactions, deliveries, and performance metrics.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.
  • Identify inefficiencies in customer service workflows and propose solutions.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for customer service functions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer service leadership role, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
  • Strong database and CRM system skills; experience with logistics software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage remote teams effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
