Position Overview

The Accountant is responsible for a wide range of accounting duties including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities (Accounting & Financial Reporting)

  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries

  • Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

  • Prepare and review financial statements and internal management reports

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records

  • Assist with audits and compliance reporting as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or a multi-entity environment

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and period-end accounting practices

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems)

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and professionalism
