Quality Technician

Located in Ames, IA

Salary: $18

Express Employment is collaborating with a local production company to find a Quality Technician to join their team, with a starting pay of $18/hr, dependent on experience!

This position is a full-time, long-term opportunity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude and be open to working in various environments. 

Environment: 

• This is a well-established production company dedicated to providing high-quality product distribution
• While the training will take place on 1st shift, the position will mainly follow a 2nd shift schedule from 2:30pm-1:00am, Monday through Thursday
• As this role takes place primarily in a warehouse environment, you will need to be comfortable wearing PPE and working around various liquids

Duties: 

• Verifying raw ingredients and labels
• Measuring products
• Confirming batch/lot numbers
• Overseeing rooms
• Ensuring GMP are followed 

Skills/Experience Required: 

• 2+ years of Quality Technician experience is REQUIRED!
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Willingness to learn and ability to problem-solve
