Production Member
Located in Wallaceburg, ON
Salary: $20.00/Hour
The Production Team Member is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations by safely and efficiently producing quality products. This role involves operating equipment, assembling components, inspecting finished products, maintaining a clean work environment, and working collaboratively with the production team to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment and machinery according to established procedures.
- Assemble, package, and inspect products to meet quality standards.
- Follow work instructions, safety policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform routine quality checks and report defects or production issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Load and unload materials as required.
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting when trained.
- Accurately complete production records and documentation.
- Work effectively with supervisors and team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and workplace safety.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is considered an asset but not required.
- Ability to learn new processes and operate production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and machine noise.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment throughout the shift.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts when required.
Wage: $20.00/Hour
