Job Summary: $20- $30/hour DOE

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Star Screw Machine Operator / Setup Technician. This role involves setting up and operating Star CNC screw machines, performing routine inspections, and contributing to light programming tasks. We are open to training candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up Star CNC screw machines for production runs.

• Assist with light programming and editing of CNC code as needed.

• Operate machines and monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency.

• Inspect machines and finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Follow all company safety procedures and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with CNC or screw machines is a plus, but not required.

• Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of machining processes.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents (preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Willingness to learn and take direction.

• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Training:

On-the-job training will be provided for candidates with less experience. This includes machine setup, basic programming, and operational procedures.
