A local small engine repair shop in Albany is looking for a motivated and mechanically inclined Shop Manager to oversee daily operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools and equipment, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a knack for keeping things organized and on track.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and answer calls with professionalism and a positive attitude

• Inspect equipment (lawn mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, etc.) and prepare accurate repair quotes

• Schedule and manage technician workflow to meet deadlines

• Order parts and manage inventory to ensure availability of needed supplies

• Keep the shop clean, organized, and running efficiently

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of small engines, including two-stroke and four-stroke engines

• Familiarity with fuel systems, carburetors, and routine engine maintenance

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and lead daily shop operations

• Dependable work ethic and willingness to learn
