Located in Waupaca, WI

Salary: $23.00 - $33.00/HR

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm 

Pay: $23.00 - $33.00/HR

Duties: 

  • Inspect parts during setup, in-process, and final stages to verify compliance with blueprints and GD&T specifications

  • Utilize customer-supplied documents to ensure products meet dimensional and tolerance standards

  • Identify and communicate non-conformities or discrepancies to relevant departments

  • Collect and interpret SPC (Statistical Process Control) data to evaluate process capability

  • Maintain QC standards, procedures, and documentation, providing guidance to machine operators when necessary

  • Recommend and communicate process improvements to enhance overall quality

  • Oversee the upkeep of QC fixtures, gauges, and tooling

  • Assist with internal projects, training programs, and attend relevant courses or seminars as needed

  • Participate in customer audits and conduct source inspections

  • Support resolution of quality concerns and follow up on corrective actions

 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality-focused role (e.g., Quality Technician, Inspector, SPC Coordinator, or Quality Lead)

  • Proficient in:

    • Blueprint reading, including GD&T

    • Microsoft Office Suite

    • SPC data collection and analysis

    • Mechanical inspection tools and techniques

    • CAD software (preferred)

    • Gauge calibration processes

  • Strong mathematical and measurement skills

  • High attention to detail and a quality-first mindset

  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
