Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Coding and Billing Specialist to join our healthcare team in Utah County. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and coding, with proficiency in ICD-10 coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to diagnoses and procedures.
• Review and analyze medical records to ensure proper coding and billing compliance.
• Submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
• Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and obtain additional information as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and insurance regulations.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in medical billing and coding.
• ICD-10 coding experience is required.
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
