Job Description: IT Support Specialist – Windows System Transition
We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy IT Support Specialist to assist students and faculty during a system transition to Windows. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and guide users through the migration process to ensure a smooth and efficient transition. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a solid understanding of Windows operating systems and common academic software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist users with setup, navigation, and troubleshooting on Windows systems.
Provide responsive technical support via in-person, email, or remote assistance.
Help migrate data and settings from legacy systems to the Windows environment.
Document support cases and common issues for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience with Windows OS and basic IT troubleshooting.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
