Salary: $25.00 - $28.00

Experienced Electronic Technician that can assist in our electronic production department. The ideal candidate possesses the following skill sets: 

• Must be quality conscious and have experience in working with formal quality systems to achieve defect free products
• Must have significant troubleshooting and repair skills
• Must have through hole and surface mount solder skills
• Must be computer savvy and understand how to program (flash) embedded devices
• Must understand calibration procedures and have good grasp of components function and identification
• Must be demanding of self and the team to meet production/rework demands
• Must work with other department heads (sales, engineering, service and admin) to meet goals and objectives
• Must be demanding of work area cleanliness and organization
• Must understand and have experience in working with ERP systems and manufacturing environments with respect to job travelers
• Must be goal oriented and have strong work ethics

Pay $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Monday - Friday 7:00am-5:00pm

Job Description

• Assist production supervisor in board manufacture, testing and rework
• Troubleshoot circuit boards down to component levels on both trough hole and surface mount devices
• Assist solder techs in manufacturing as needed
• Program and calibrate devices
• Help with jig fixture development on new products and associated test procedures
• Assist with inventory
• Work with engineering department to ensure accurate build/BOM documentation
• Maintain cleanliness and order of all electronic production areas
• Help implement process improvements as needed
• Perform any assigned work as required by the manager or supervisor

Educational Requirements

• Associates degree or military experience as electronic technician.
• Work history may be considered in lieu of formal degree

 

Additional / Preferred Requirements

• 3+ years of working in a manufacturing or technical trouble shooting environment
• Military background
• Proficient in the use of computers
• Previous knowledge of electronic device manufacture
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical devices
• Ability to work overtime if needed
