Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, mechanically-inclined Propane Tank Restoration Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves restoring used propane tanks through a variety of mechanical and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using tools and machinery, following safety protocols, and performing physical labor in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble propane tanks for inspection and restoration

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean tank surfaces

• Paint restored tanks according to company standards

• Re-palletize completed tanks for distribution

• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and overhead hoist cranes

• Use computer systems to monitor and record pressure levels

• Operate an engraving machine for marking tanks

• Perform basic mechanical tasks using hand and power tools

• Ensure all safety procedures are followed, including PPE usage

Requirements:

• Must own and wear steel-toed boots

• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred)

• Ability to operate hoist cranes and related machinery

• Familiar with basic computer systems and digital pressure gauges

• Mechanically inclined and proficient with basic hand tools

• Good understanding of basic math

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects throughout the workday

• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
