What You’ll Do:

As a Painter, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of routine and project-based painting duties. You’ll help maintain the interior and exterior appearance of the community, ensuring all work is completed to high standards while minimizing disruption to residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform painting, drywall repair, caulking, finishing, texturing, and wall covering across community facilities.
• Prep, patch, and prime surfaces including drywall and plaster; match colors and mix paint/stain as needed.
• Apply sealers, paints, stains, and protective finishes according to industry standards.
• Protect work areas by properly masking and covering non-painted surfaces.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment; perform minor equipment repairs as needed.
• Estimate and order appropriate materials and supplies for each task.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following proper safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Deliver friendly, respectful interactions with residents, guests, and coworkers.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of professional painting experience, including surface preparation and finish work.
• Experience with drywall repair, patching, texturing, and caulking.
• Formal training or certifications in painting or related trades preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working around senior residents in a respectful, service-focused manner.
