Position Summary:

As a Welder in this busy Fab Shop, you’ll be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components based on engineering specifications and drawings. You’ll work with a team that values safety, precision, and quality. This company offers advancement based on your skills, experience, and initiative.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering specs and blueprints
• Measure, plan layouts, and determine appropriate welding methods
• Weld metal components using gas welding, brazing, or arc welding
• Operate forklifts, hoists, grinders, cutting torches, and other shop tools
• Repair cracked or broken parts and increase size of metal components
• Clamp and position materials for welding
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
• Maintain safe and functional equipment; report safety concerns

What You Need to Succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED (welding certificate is a plus)
• Minimum 1 year of welding experience
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
• Familiarity with welding tools and safety procedures
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
