Deburring Technician

Located in Santa Clara, CA

Salary: $20.00-$25.00

PAY RANGE: $20.00-$25.00

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Use small hand tools to clean up cosmetic issues on parts.
• Read and comprehend information on shop job travelers.
• Use basic precision measurement tools.
• Compare estimate times on job travelers to actual times 

Skills & Experience:

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
• Understands processes used in removing scratches, excess weld material, and burs

Equipment Used:

• Demonstrated ability using windows based computers

Physical Requirements:

• Sets up jobs as appropriate. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations

Education:

• Educational background in light industrial trades and/or in a post-secondary vocational program is a plus

 

Qualities Preferred:

• Strong written & oral communication skills to support business needs in an English-speaking environment
