Express Employment Professionals, Atlanta NE location, has a client who is seeking an experienced Purchasing Planner Expert to join their growing team in the Atlanta NE area and play a key role in optimizing inventory, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost-effective purchasing strategies. This role is a Direct Hire and ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in supply chain management, data analysis, strong negotiation skills, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage purchasing plans for products and accessories based on demand forecasts and historical data.
• Analyze inventory trends to reduce costs and minimize stockouts or overages.
• Issue and track purchase orders via ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve quality or delivery issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, product development, and finance) to align procurement strategies.
• Monitor and report on key purchasing and inventory KPIs.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and support cost-reduction projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in purchasing, planning, or supply chain roles.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Epicor P21, NetSuite, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven success in demand planning, supplier management, and cross-functional project execution.
