Our client in Plymouth, MA has an IMMEDIATE need for CNC Machinists on their 1st shift. The CNC Machinists will set up, operate and monitor CNC Milling machinery. Candidates with experience on Swiss type lathes, mills, mill-turn equipment are preferred. 5 axis Milling experience.

Hours: Full Time, Monday-Thursday / 3:15pm - 1:45am

Pay Rate: $28-35 an hour based on experience + shift differential

 

CNC Machinist Responsibilities include:

·         Set-up, operate and control processes on machines

·         Select and install tooling, work holding and fixtures appropriate for each job

·         Maintain and perform daily preventative machine maintenance; troubleshoot and solve routing problems and issues

·         Document work performed and maintain production records

 

CNC Machinist Requirements:

·         High school diploma or equivalent, Technical/Vocational school preferred

·         Proven experience as a 5 axis Machinist in a production setting; 5 years preferred

·         Read and understand blueprints, engineering drawings, SOPs and other technical information in English

·         Attention to detail, good mathematical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
