Express Employment Professionals is seeking interested individuals for a temp to permanent property restoration position. Full time, first shift with potential after hours and on call requirements. $18+. 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Restoration Technician is responsible for providing emergency and non-emergency restoration services to residential and commercial properties damaged by water, fire, mold, and other disasters. This role involves on-site assessment, mitigation, cleaning, and restoration activities, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking, detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency service calls and assess the extent of damage to affected properties.
• Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification procedures using specialized equipment.
• Execute fire and smoke damage cleanup, including soot and debris removal.
• Conduct mold remediation according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Clean and disinfect affected areas and contents, including structural elements and personal belongings.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment, taking necessary readings and documenting progress.
• Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials as needed.
• Apply antimicrobial treatments and sealants.
• Communicate effectively with homeowners, business owners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders.
• Document all work performed, including site conditions, moisture readings, equipment used, and progress photos, using company software and procedures.
• Maintain and clean company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency services as required.
• Attend training sessions and maintain relevant certifications.
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support the overall restoration process.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedures.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, particularly for emergency response.
