Salary: 62,000k+

Our client, a manufacturer in the Mississauga area, is looking for a Shipper/Receiver Team Lead to join their organization on a permanent basis.  If you have 5+ years of experience in a shipper/receiver role with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead the shipping and receiving department
• Ensure in and outbound shipments are accurate 
• Work with outside carriers and couriers to track/trace shipments, best pricing, and scheduling pick up and deliveries
• Schedule daily operations for the team
• Inventory audits
• Mentor, train and develop of shipping and receiving team
• Track operations and teams KPI's and report to senior leadership
• Other projects assigned by management

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in shipping and receiving with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
• Experience with KPI reporting
• Strong knowledge of ERP software, inventory management and transportation management systems
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs
• Experience and Certified using Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklifts
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
