Staff Accountant

Job Summary:

Express Employment Professionals in Miami Dade South is currently hiring candidates with accounting experience for a local company in the Miami Dade area. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to support small to mid-size business entities. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and long-term opportunities.

Requirements:

  •        Perform accounting functions for small to mid-size business entities; review General Ledger detail and maintain Fixed Assets schedules
  •        Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner
  •        Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status, discrepancies, and financial reporting
  •        Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls; assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

Schedule & Pay:

  •        Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM | Full Time
  •        Competitive salary based on experience | Paid weekly through Express Pros, Miami Dade South, FL

Qualifications:

  •        Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BS Accounting) required; knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  •        Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams; willingness to learn and work with new systems
  •        Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and high-quality work
  •        Team player with strong communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
