Express Employment Professionals of Longview are currently seeking a Full Time HR Generalist for a local company located in Kilgore.

 

Job duties include:

• Process payroll accurately and on time.

• Coordinate employee benefits enrollment, ensure timely completion of forms, and manage updates (e.g., additions, removals, address changes).
• Complete the annual insurance census and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
• Monitor and support the performance evaluation process, including formal annual reviews and informal six-month check-ins.

• Track performance-related milestones and coordinate salary adjustments as needed.
• Maintain and revise the employee handbook to reflect current policies and practices.

• Serve as a confidential resource for employee concerns, especially when employees prefer not to approach their direct supervisors.
• Maintain and update the management organizational chart.
• Manage the employee directory and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee files.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by law.
• Prepare and post job descriptions and advertisements.
• Monitor incoming applications and coordinate candidate communications.

• Conduct background checks and manage new hire onboarding, including orientation and training scheduling.

 

Details:

• Hours are Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm.  
• Rate of pay $23/hr.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, ideally as a Generalist.

• Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and payroll/benefits administration.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online Microsoft Office and HRIS Systems.
• Familiarity with oil and gas service operations and vendor requirements.
