A Chair Company in the Chicago Midway area in need of a Motivated candidate with experienced in customer service in sales and accounting.

 

Title- CSR/Accounting

Pay Rate- $20-25 DOE (Direct hire)

 

Job Description: Respond to customer request and concerns, quote pricing and process orders. Post payments received and collect past due payments.

 

Duties:

• Complies lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads utilizing many sources
• Make outbound lead follow up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products
• Handles inbound calls to convert calls into Sales. Quote prices, estimate delivery dates and prepare sales orders.
• Processes incoming orders, enters new customer data and other sales data into database and handles customer request. Track delivery schedules and order status.
• Prepare and mail product literature, manuals and catalogs. Work with Sales and Marketing personnel to keep literature up to date.
• Provide administrative and clerical support as required: answering phones, preparing mail, billings, vouchers and correspondence, filing, copying and delivering faxes.
• Consistently updates company database in MAS
• Maintain and update customer files.
• Process credit applications, check credit with bank, obtain reports and give to CFO for credit approval. Inform customer of credit approval/denial.
• Audit freight invoices, address freight billing issues. Enter freight bills in accounts payable.
• Enter A/P invoices
• Input A/P Invoices- matching invoice to price & units/ to the purchaser order
• Audit the G/L Account: Repair or new piece of equipment / Office Supply or Workers Comp.
• Reconcile dispute with purchasing department
• Filling A/P checks/invoices
• Company credit card processing ( verify all credit card charges are supported with a receipt)
• Review the G/L account coding for each purchase
• Reconcile any discrepancies with user
• Maintain daily filing process for various SAGE reports/according to month
• Process credit card sales ( Step 1 & Step 2 process)
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
