Overview:
A leading plastic blow molding manufacturer is seeking a skilled and versatile Fabricator/Welder/Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team on 1st shift. This is a hands-on, jack-of-all-trades position supporting production and facility upkeep. Ideal for someone who thrives on variety and can pivot between welding, fabrication, maintenance, and light electrical work.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG welding to fabricate custom parts such as catch trays, bins, and crates

• Unload and handle plastic resin deliveries

• Build and repair metal and wood structures as needed for production

• Perform general facilities maintenance, including:

  • Light electrical work

  • Basic plumbing and septic system upkeep

  • Air conditioning system support

• Maintain tools, workspaces, and shop equipment in safe working order

• Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and support across departments

Qualifications:

• Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills

• Experience with basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

• Ability to lift heavy materials and operate forklifts or pallet jacks (preferred)

• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving ability

• Reliable and self-motivated with a hands-on work ethic

• Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
