Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our 1st shift warehouse team. This role is critical in keeping our operations running smoothly by supplying materials and inventory to various departments across the facility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of performing physically active work throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately follow work orders to bring materials and inventory to designated areas.
Refill bins and supply areas across the warehouse and support batch setup/test build zones.
Stock parts and supplies such as nuts, bolts, cables, belts, screws, etc., to keep production lines active.
Pick orders, put away inventory, and perform cycle counts as needed.
Use a hand pallet jack, electric pallet jack, forklift, and order picker (as qualified).
Operate RF scanners, label printers, and utility knives.
Work with Oracle software and desktop computers for inventory management.
Assist in the sub-assembly, modular emboss, receiving dock, and quality inspection areas.
Wrap pallets and assist in shipping and receiving tasks.
Wear required protective smocks and footwear and use grounding gear in build/test areas.
Climb small, medium, and super-tall stairs to access product locations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for the full shift.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (infrequent; team lifts available); frequent lifting of 1–10 lbs, occasional lifting of 11–25 lbs.
Basic math skills (addition and subtraction with digits) required.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
High attention to detail and ability to accurately count and follow directions.
Experience with hand-held RF scanners preferred.
Familiarity with electric pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and desktop computer systems is a plus.
Previous warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience strongly preferred.
Must be comfortable wearing protective gear (e.g., smocks, grounding straps, footwear) when required.
Preferred Experience:
Forklift certification (or willingness to be trained and certified).
Experience using Oracle or other warehouse management software.
Knowledge of sub-assembly and modular build processes.
