Location: Dekalb, IL

Position Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Salary: $23.00 per hour plus OT and bonus opportunities!

 

Summary of Duties:

 

We are currently seeking dedicated Warehouse Associates to join our team at the warehouse in Dekalb, IL. This position involves various warehouse tasks, including picking and completing customer orders, executing activities for receiving and inventory management, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining housekeeping standards, and identifying workplace issues for resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous warehouse experience is required, and a forklift operating license is preferred but not required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and complete customer orders and internal orders using an RF-Unit, and pack customer work orders efficiently.
• Execute activities for receiving incoming inventory, put away, movements, restocks, pull downs, put ups, rack to shelf put away, and cycle counts using an RF-Unit and online computer system.
• Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
• Remove segregated waste and garbage from the warehouse as required (specific locations only).
• Maintain general department housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
• Identify problems and blockages in the workplace and notify the Supervisor for resolution.
• Troubleshoot work orders as needed.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Simple mathematical skills.
• 1 year of direct work experience in a warehouse setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good work longevity and reliability.
• Forklift operating experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to assist co-workers and eagerness to cross-train and learn various warehouse processes.
