Salary: $17-30/hr

Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

• Use Blueprints to Install Door Hardware including Hinges, Stoppers, and Handles
• Adjust doors to open or close with the correct amount of effort or make simple adjustments to electric openers.
• Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Carry springs to tops of doors, using ladders or scaffolding, and attach springs to tracks to install spring systems.
• Install door frames, rails, steel rolling curtains, electronic-eye mechanisms, or electric door openers and closers, using power tools, hand tools, and electronic test equipment.
• Assemble and fasten tracks to structures or bucks, using impact wrenches or welding equipment and structural components.
• Set doors into place or stack hardware sections into openings after rail or track installation.
• Position equipment using hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment.
• Prepare doors for hardware installation, such as drilling holes to install locks.
• Drill holes in parts, equipment, or materials.
• Study blueprints and schematic diagrams to determine appropriate methods of installing or repairing automated door openers.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, or diagrams to inform installation, development, or operation activities.
• Cut, Measure, Move, and Install materials, equipment, or supplies.
• Repair or replace worn or broken door parts, using hand tools.
• Assemble mechanical components or machine parts.
• Perform additional Tasks as instructed by Supervisor

Schedule and Pay:

• Mon-Fri (7am-4pm)
• PAY VARIES AND IS DEPENDENT ON SKILL SET AND EXPERIENCE
• SOMEONE WHO HAS NO EXP, STARTING RATE IS $17/HR

Requirements:
• Ability to Pass a Drug Screen and Background Check
• High School Diploma & Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to perform job specific physical requirements under the specified working conditions including but not limited to: Willing to Work on Knees, Willing to Work Outside When Necessary, and Can lift 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of Safe Work Practices and Proper PPE Requirements
• MUST be willing to work doing tasks outside of this description as needed, including housekeeping duties
• Reliable and with Timely Transportation
• Self-Sufficient and Self-Motivated
• Willingness to be trained to perform job in manner consistent with Modular Connections, LLC to fit the unique needs of the products we make and Customers we serve
• Working Knowledge of Construction Math, Blueprint and Technical drawing interpretation, and hand/power tool use. (Knowledge of FEMA and Assa Abloy Security Preferred)
• Willingness to Work Overtime as Needed, Including Weekends
